Anti-wrinkle Injections

Neuromodulators are commercially known as Botox Cosmetic, Dysport, Xeomin, and Jeuveau. Neuromodulators are used to reduce the dynamic wrinkles in the forehead, between the eyebrows and around the eyes. When injected, the neuromodulator will gradually relax the muscle allowing the overlaying skin to appear smooth and unwrinkled. Alone, or in combination with other skin rejuvenation procedures, these products can offer a significant improvement in one’s appearance.

What to expect

A neuromodulator (Botox Cosmetic, Jeuveau or Xeomin), is a great option for those looking to reduce the dynamic wrinkles of the upper face. Prior to the procedure, the injection sites will be cleansed and pre-procedure pictures will be taken. The neuromodulator is injected directly into the muscle. Minimal redness and/or swelling at the injection sites may occur, but should resolve quickly.

Results begin to appear within 7 days. Anti-wrinkle injections are not permanent. Effects last on average of 3-4 months. It’s best to plan on receiving your anti-wrinkle injections 3-4 times per year.
